Guns N’ Roses signed with a major label within nine months of their inception and topped national sales charts weeks after garnering late hours airplay on MTV. Appetite for Destruction was the second highest-selling debut album of all time, behind Boston’s self-titled debut album.

Now they live their own lives. For instance, the former Guns ‘N’ Roses star Slash has launched a heartfelt appeal to help find his missing brother-in-law. 

The guitarist is hoping to help his wife, Perla Hudson. They were married in 2001, and have two children together. Now Slash helps his wife to locate her brother, Ivan Pablo Padilla, who disappeared in Hollywood in December 2001Padilla is now 43 years old and was known to wear a gold chain with a medal bearing an Indian head - and Slash is urging anyone who knows of his whereabouts to email searchforivan@yahoo.com.
